Neville Longbottom joins the Hogwarts staff as a "junior instructor in Herbology" and finds himself thinking about life, love, and Minerva McGonagall.
I love the way author Kelly Chambliss has used the characters' confusion, curiousity, and ambivalence to stoke the readers' curiosity about the nature of Minerva's and Will's relationship, and what that says about us. I also love all the different perspectives the author gives us on Minerva, from Neville, to his gran, to Pomona.
The conclusion is wonderful and satisfying in a surprising way.
