Bertie takes refuge from the dreaded Aunt Agatha in a public house favoured by the lavender brotherhood. There he encounters a sinister school-masterish sort who's even more out of place than he is.
This is genius. Was there ever anything so gloriously incongruous as the meeting of a Bertie and a Snape? The juxtaposition is fabulous. The author has nailed Bertie's voice so perfectly here. And poor Severus, having to contend with Bertie, AND Jeeves, AND Dumbledore.
