After Lily's death Snape and Petunia are drawn to each other in an attempt to find something of Lily in the other. Neither of them is really sure what they find, but they find that they need it.
Petunia and Severus have been done before, but this is one of the most effective treatments I've read. Perfectly in-character, with plenty of feeling without being sentimental. Bonus points for really lovely character development.
